Cindy "Mac" Mackenzie uses her computer hacking and cracking skills to help Veronica with her cases; the two joke that she is a kind of Q to Veronica's James Bond. Veronica Mars is the upcoming motion picture adaptation of the television series of the same name rumored to be written and directed by series creator Rob Thomas and starring Kristen Bell. Production is planned to begin during the summer of 2013 and slated to be released in early 2014.
